Energy label partnership

The British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) has announced an exclusive partnership with Sheffield-based specialist print supplier Digital 2000. The partnership means discounts to BFRC members on energy performance labels that are produced under the Window Energy Ratings Scheme (WERS). The labels, together with a range of complimentary products, are available at what BFRC describes as highly competitive prices.

Members can order labels through the members section of the BFRC website by clicking on the Digital 2000 logo, which will reveal a range of products available. A new, easy ordering facility is available thanks to the partnership, along with access to specialist print and labelling knowledge, including guidance on BFRC labelling requirements.

Digital 2000 is fully committed to delivering the highest level of service and competitive pricing to BFRC members, using its extensive market visibility and supply chain management expertise to accurately match against members requirements. Launched just over 15 years ago by the BFRC, the Window Energy Ratings scheme has become the most consistent and popular measurement of how a replacement window or door will perform in terms of its energy efficiency, using rainbow labels commonly used to measure energy performance across a range of devices and measures.

Lis Clarke, operations director of UKAS-regulated businesses, said: “At a time when it has never been more important for a company to show evidence their windows and doors can save homeowners money, it is fantastic news for our members to be able to take advantage of our new partnership with Digital 2000. I expect to see a large number of our members take up this offer and provide their customers with proof of performance.”

Simon Lindsell, Digital 2000’s director, added: “We’re delighted to be partnering with BFRC and look forward to working closely with its members, to provide support when required and to further develop our service offering. Our aim is to remove the pain of managing and ordering consumables, so customers can concentrate on what’s important to them.”

The partnership with Digital 2000 is the latest in exclusive benefits brought to BFRC customers, including BFRC Recycling, a free PVC-U collection service for all deglazed frames and off cuts, and the recently launched GGF Group Market Knowledge Report, which is available to all BFRC customers free of charge. BFRC members can speak directly to the BFRC-dedicated team at Digital 2000 by emailing BFRC@digital222.co.uk or by calling 0114 221 2000.
