Global Windows achieves third annual G Award nomination

Judges of this year’s G Awards (G23) have shortlisted Global Windows for the third year in a row. Winners of G23 are to be announced at a gala dinner and awards ceremony on Friday 24 November at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

The Global Windows team has been nominated for the Installer of the Year G23 award. Leaders of the Sheffield-based company have revamped the firm’s showroom and made strategic supplier changes while maintaining continual customer satisfaction, representatives of the business have reported.

The leadership team at Global Windows has also donated more than £3,600 to the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. In addition to this they supported the charity’s Christmas raffle last year with a £5,000 gift. More recently, they sponsored the kit for a local martial arts club as they head off to the World Martial Arts Championships in Italy this October.

The Global Windows team has increased its sustainability efforts this year too, thanks to investment in electric vehicle charging points. The business also has a new, on-site glass skip and a partnership with a local private recycling company.

“I am incredibly proud that Global Windows has once again been selected as a G Award finalist – our third consecutive year as a nominee,” said Liam Hulme, the company’s managing director. “The recognition and consideration by the judges for the Installer of the Year category is a testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of the entire Global team, and all we’ve worked to achieve in the past 12 months.

“To have reached this stage once again is an honour. I wish our fellow finalists the very best of luck.”

Global Windows won two GGP Installer Awards in 2022. The team has also maintained ‘excellent’ scores with Certass and Checkatrade, according to the business’ representatives.
