High flying Dekko inspires Britain in 2016

PR065 - 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain DekkoTrade fabricator, Dekko Window Systems, has been included in the 2016 edition of the 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain report.

The report, created by the London Stock Exchange, is an annual celebration of some of the fastest-growing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK.

The selection criteria requires companies to show growing revenue over the past four years and to outperform their sector peers. During the four year time period monitored by the London Stock Exchange, Dekko has reportedly grown from £6m to £11m turnover, launched ‘a raft of new, innovative products’ and moved from its original 25,000ft2 facility in Bredbury into a state of the art 55,000 ft2 factory in Ashton-Under-Lyne, complete with its own dedicated Residence 9 manufacturing area.

Dekko says it also became one of the first companies in the UK to invest in a SL4FF seamless quad welder from Graf Synergy, allowing it to manufacture PVC-U frames with a seamless corner weld finish.

Sales director, Kurt Greatrex, said: “1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain is a prestigious report that recognises some of the country’s most dynamic businesses, and we’re very proud to be included. It’s been an incredible four years and we would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their loyalty and support, because none of this would have been possible without them. We aim to build on our success and keep getting better, faster and stronger.”

The success story looks set to continue for Dekko, with the fabricator preparing to launch an exciting new product range into the market. “The range will be manufactured using the new seamless quad welder and we think it’s going to revolutionise the PVC-U market,” Kurt added.
