After announcing a company record sales figure of just under £18million for the year 2013, Glazerite Windows has identified the star performer in its ranks; its North West division.
Figures show that sales for the company’s North West division increased by 32.1% in 2013, with the division managing to supply, on average, in excess of 700 frames per week during the final quarter of 2013 when, according to Insight Data, only 7% of fabricators were supplying in excess of 500 frames per week in 2013.
Glazerite’s North West division has reportedly attained a 180% sales increase in the three full trading years since Glazerite’s acquisition in September 2010, and to accommodate this growth and the anticipated increase for 2014, staffing levels have increased across all departments by 40%.
As an entire company, Glazerite reported £17,876,458 in sales for 2013, which was apparently helped by a growth in vertical sliding sash windows, patio, composite and bi-folding doors sales.
With North West division sales expected to be in excess of £5million in 2014, this is a substantial contribution towards the company target of just over £20million, which is approximately £2.5 million more than in 2013.
Glazerite’s director, Jason Thompson, commented: “Thanks to the strong sales growth from our existing customer base, coupled with the excellent achievements of the North West division we’re able to reinvest in some things that are important in keeping the operation running smoothly, such as the plant, machinery, vehicles, and of course the people.”
