GGP Magazine has revealed the shortlist for the 2020 Installer Awards, an event that will celebrate the UK glazing industry’s most impressive installations, products and services, as well as recognise its most outstanding individuals.
Categories for the GGP Magazine 2020 Installer Awards cater for residential and commercial installations, with a separate category for conservatories and orangeries, plus best installer support programme, technical innovation, outstanding achievement and rising star.
The awards will also include the 2020 FENSA Installation of the Year. Every FENSA installation in 2020 that received a 5-star rating from both the homeowner and local FENSA assessor, was automatically entered into the shortlist for the main award, which will be presented as part of the virtual ceremony hosted by GGP Magazine on 18 March.
GGP Magazine editor, Luke Wood, commented: “We have been overwhelmed by both the quantity and quality of the entries, all of which have served to showcase the skill and hard work of the UK’s window, door and conservatory installers.

“In addition, they’ve also shone a light on some remarkable individuals, from those who have made an outstanding long-term contribution to the companies they represent, and others who have made their mark in a relatively short space of time.

We have faced the uncertainty of lockdowns, unprecedented levels of activity from homeowners looking to improve their properties and high levels of stress as supply chains buckle under the strain.
