Vitrum 2023: Edgetech set to showcase “a spacer for all solutions”

A team of warm-edge spacer bar experts from Edgetech, a Quanex company, are to exhibit the business’ Super Spacer range at the Vitrum glass technology show in Milan, from 5 to 8 September. The biennial exhibition is expected to draw thousands of glass industry leaders to the Fiera Milano exhibition centre.

“In 1989, Edgetech was the first manufacturer to introduce flexible, foam-based warm edge spacer systems,” explained Chris Alderson, Edgetech’s managing director. “Super Spacer continues to excel on all fronts – delivering on everything from energy efficiency and room comfort to streamlining unit production and ensuring an aesthetically pleasing edge seal.

“As countries across Europe strive for net zero in the built environment, and solutions like triple glazing increasingly become the norm, these benefits will prove more powerful than ever.”

In addition to the tried-and-tested Super Spacer, products such as the Super Spacer T-Spacer SG, which has been developed to meet the requirements of the structural glazing and XXL glazing market, are also set to be displayed at the show.

Further, the Edgetech team is set to display a selection of new colour variants at Vitrum, including samples in ruby and green. These options are aimed at complementing the company’s standard colour range of grey, white and black.

Visitors to Vitrum can find Edgetech representatives at Hall 7P, Stand S04. For more information about the brand or products, call 02476 639 931 or visit the company website.

Vitrum is marketed as Italy’s most prominent glass and glassware trade fair, and is set to host more than 260 international exhibitors. The product offering at the show is aimed at representing the entire range of the glass production and distribution supply chain, from insulating glass to machinery, systems and services in the glassware industry.

Glass services occupy a significant portion of the show floor, and businesses specialising in glass cutting and engraving as well as glass art and mirror making are also usually represented at the show.
