Two new starters for AluK

AluK has appointed two new representatives to join its trade sales team.

Harriet Adams is looking after customers in London and the South East corner and Scott Yates is supporting customers in the East of England from Northamptonshire to East Anglia.

Both are said to have valuable experience in the industry. Before taking time out to work for the police service, Scott had worked for an aluminium fabricator in production and sales estimating, while Harriet has joined AluK direct from hardware supplier, VBH.

They were welcomed on board by AluK’s national sales manager, Neil Smith. He said: “Harriet and Scott are the first new recruits to have a virtual induction and to meet the rest of the team via video call. However, they have coped brilliantly with that and are already showing exactly the kind of drive and energy which will help us and our customers once we see more of the industry returning to work.

“AluK has put together a special free package of sales and marketing support to help our customers through the lockdown and return to work. Harriet and Scott will be encouraging customers to make the most of that; and are both planning on seeing customers remotely to begin with and then getting out to meet them from a socially distant 2m as soon as they can.”

Harriet said: “I’ve had plenty of experience supplying hardware to companies fabricating AluK bi-folds in particular so I’m really excited about getting involved with those products, as well as the other doors and windows in the range. Scott added: “This feels like the perfect role for me because I’ve fabricated and estimated in AluK products before, so I know exactly how good they are.”
