Marketing committee formed

ggfThe Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) Group has set up a Group Marketing Committee to help the companies within the Group follow a more ‘integrated and consistent’ marketing and communications approach.

Nigel Rees, GGF Group chief executive, commented: “As part of the GGF Group’s ongoing strategy review implementation, we have formed the GGF Group Marketing Committee. This is a key development for the marketing and communications functions across all the brands in the GGF Group. We saw last year at the FIT Show how the brands can work together. With this formal structure now in place, we are confident the GGF’s subsidiary brands will find relevant synergies and share resources, ideas and contacts where possible, to mutual benefit.”

As well as the GGF itself, other brands within the GGF Group include:

    ,

  • FENSA – the government authorised competent persons scheme for the replacement of windows, doors and rooflights in England and Wales
  • ,

  • BFRC (British Fenestration Rating Council) – the UK’s national system for rating energy efficient windows
  • ,

  • GGFi – a provider of insurance backed guarantees on behalf of the home improvements industry
  • ,

  • GGF Training – the new training company recently set up by the GGF to meet the industry’s training requirements
  • ,

  • Borough IT – the GGF’s IT company which is said to offer ‘business-critical IT solutions for efficiency and profit’

Nigel Rees added: “The Group Marketing Committee should not only improve the overall marketing and communications within the Group but also enhance the individual brands in their respective markets. It’s a very promising development for the GGF Group.”
