Changes underpin strong growth

Sliding sash window specialist, Masterframe, has announced a number of new appointments in response to strong growth. The company has reported sales up by 19% in the last quarter of 2018 and predicts a strong outlook going forward.

Carol Slade has been announced as the new managing director, Ramon Rabett returns as technical and compliance director after temporarily heading up production and, after a break of six years, Greg Ponds has returned to become head of production.

According to Masterframe, Greg’s role will be to ensure that the company continues to provide the same ‘high-quality product and customer experience’. Greg commented: “I’m thrilled to be back with Masterframe Windows. We have a very loyal customer base and it is important they receive the same level of quality as we grow.”

Ramon Rabett, who’s knowledge and expertise is said to be ‘widely acknowledged across the industry’, whether it’s for product design, BFRC, British or European standards or CE Marking, said: “As specialists who led the development of the modern sliding sash window, and as the trade choice for sash windows it’s important we continue to develop and introduce new products. I look forward to ensuring we deliver that.”

Carol, who joined Masterframe Windows in 2002 as financial consultant, said. “To be appointed managing director is a real honour, I’m delighted to take on the role and look forward to guiding the business in a positive direction over the coming years.”

Alan Burgess has stepped into the role of chairman of the group and commented: “Greg has settled in very quickly, allowing Ray more time to focus on the technical aspects of the business. Carol is an amazing person full of drive; her appointment will see the group continue in its growth!”
