Committed to communication

Pace Resourcing teamPace Resourcing has successfully passed its compliance test to achieve REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) accreditation to demonstrate its commitment to providing the best standards in recruitment underpinned by the best levels of communication at all times.

“We know from personal experience that candidates who apply for jobs through recruitment agencies generally feel that communication is not always the best it could be,” said Adrian Vicker, director at Pace Resourcing.

“If you are in a position where you really want a certain job or you are looking to take a change of direction in your career, you really want to know where things are up to at all times – changing jobs is a big deal. Being told ‘if you haven’t heard anything in two weeks then you haven’t been successful’ is not really good enough in my opinion in this day and age.

“Communicating is the easiest it has ever been – there are so many ways of ‘speaking’ to people – phone, text, email and through so many channels at all times of the day that there really is no excuse, and this is one of things we major on at Pace Resourcing.

“Achieving REC accreditation is our commitment to embedding this culture of great communication into our culture; it is something we will stand or fall by. “

REC accreditation is described as a mark of quality which tells clients and candidates that a recruitment company really cares about what it does and how it does it and that it strives for an ‘unmatched level of professionalism’ in all of its business dealings. REC membership is underpinned by a Code of Practice which companies must adhere to at all times and sets the standard to champion good recruitment.
