Global supplier celebrates 40 years in business

cotswoldInternational hardware manufacturer and supplier, Cotswold Architectural Products, celebrated a landmark 40 years in business in February.

Cotswold, which works with UK industry names including Polyframe, Safestyle UK, Jeld-Wen, Dempsey Dyer, Metal Technology and Kawneer, also regularly completes overseas projects in countries such as China, South Korea, Chile, America and Malaysia.

Tim Ferkin, general manager at Cotswold, commented: “I wasn’t born 40 years ago when Cotswold first formed but I have been at the company for over 10 years.

,“Year on year I’ve seen the company make huge strides in the UK and internationally. Our results speak for themselves if you consider the projects we’ve been involved in and product solutions we’ve created for some of the UK’s biggest names.”

At the beginning of 2014, Cotswold was acquired by Caldwell UK. Caldwell’s managing director, Alistair MacAulay, said: “In its 40 years in business, Cotswold has always been innovative and a leader in its field. This is a landmark, not just for the company and its core industry, but for UK manufacturing. Cotswold is a major exporter and has a global reputation for excellence.”
