Liniar open day scores highly with customers

liniarLiniar has received positive feedback following its recent open day, which saw 90 of its customers descend upon its Derbyshire premises to hear the systems company’s latest product updates and plans for the future.

As well as the opportunity to meet up with team members from across the organisation and network with their fellow Liniar fabricators and installers over lunch, attendees were given ‘hands-on’ access to the latest product developments in the company’s refurbished showroom, which now also features a new timeline of the company’s history.

The open day event, spanning two days due to the high level of interest, saw the official re-launch of the Liniar Zoom conservatory roof, following parent company HL Plastic’s purchase of the remaining 50% of Zoom from Crystal Direct’s Martin Randall.

Along with the roof itself, 37 associated products for 2014 were also unveiled, including the new, thermally efficient, EnergyPlus top cap and new sculptured roof bar end caps, as well as seven new coloured foils, one new cream substrate and more than 460 new part combinations.

Other products showcased at the event included the brand new Liniar bi-fold door, ModLok.

With further presentations concerning standard product updates, cyclic testing, marketing, business opportunities, profit potential and Liniar’s further plans for 2014, the day concluded with an optional tour of the company’s production facility and new mixing plant.

With an average feedback score across both days of 4.63 out of a possible five, it would seem that the event was certainly worthwhile for those who attended.

,Summing up, Roger Hartshorn, Liniar’s managing director, said: “The last two days have been a great platform to present our new products and plans to our customers. I am proud of what we have achieved to date and feel that we are constantly taking Liniar to new levels – next stop, the FIT Show!”
