Parent co makes Sunday Times Top Track list

milaMila’s parent company, Arran Isle, has been named as one of the UK’s fastest growing companies in the Sunday Times’ Top Track 250 list.

,The list, which was published on 12 October, ranks Britain’s leading mid-market companies by sales. Arran Isle was placed at number 142 with sales of £206m in 2013, up from £192m in 2012.

,The Sunday Times described the list as representing the ‘unsung powerhouse of the British economy’ and pointed out that overall, these businesses were surpassing the growth trajectory of the wider economy.

,It is said to be the housing market recovery in both the UK and North America which has helped Arran Isle to reach 142 on the list, as the group is focused on designing, sourcing and distributing branded products to housebuilders, builders merchants and fabricators via brands including Window Ware, Carlisle Brass, Eurospec and LaSalle Bristol, as well as Mila.

,Richard Gyde, managing director of Mila, said: “Mila continues to play an important part in the growth story of Arran Isle. As well as sales growth, we have contributed a number of major product launches over the past three years and our outstanding On Time In Full service figures have helped our group operations worldwide to achieve a score of over 98% of order lines delivered on time.”
,

,Much of the Top Track 250 list is made up of companies from the automotive, construction and retail sectors and alongside Arran Isle are names including Aston Martin, HSS and Nandos.

,Richard Gyde added: “This is a tremendous boost for Mila and for the whole group. Our complete focus on service and innovation is paying off and it means we’re forecasting further growth next year as well.”
