pigsPeople in Glazing Society (known as PIGS), the networking group for people in the glazing industry, is coming to the capital. The next event has been booked for 25 September at the Slug and Lettuce, Lisle Street, just off Leicester Square, London.

,Free to attend, sponsorship for PIGS comes from generous donations from companies. One regular sponsor Gareth Mobley, managing director, Solidor Group, said: “We have sponsored PIGS again because we believe that it is an essential industry event where people from our industry can come together in a relaxed atmosphere and talk openly.”
,

,Other PIGS sponsors for the forthcoming London event include: Emplas Window Systems; Everglade Windows; Glass and Glazing Products; RegaLead; Stuga and Yale Door and Window Systems.

,Anyone working or affiliated to the glazing industry is welcome. Free tickets are available at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/pigs-people-in-glazing-tickets-11882618231?aff=es2

,PIGS kicks off at 5pm and goes on until late. Sponsors’ money goes behind the bar to provide free drinks to get the party started.

,Sarah Ball of Balls 2 Marketing, who recently took over responsibility for organising PIGS, said: “We have seen the value of PIGS to the industry and supported it since the start. We have already created Social PIGS with Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to keep connected between events. We are looking forward to the next event in London and it looks like there’s already a lot of interest in having a Manchester PIGS in the New Year.”
