Regen returns to landmark Liverpool venue

Regen, a flagship conference and exhibition, is set to return to Liverpool this autumn, showcasing the people, places and products that help to drive forward regeneration in the UK. Regen 2022 is to take place at St George’s Hall from 2 to 3 November, returning after a three-year pause during the Covid-19 pandemic.

A two-day conference programme is planned for the landmark Liverpool venue, as well as a vibrant exhibition area and networking opportunities. Doors open at 10am each day. Regen’s conference programme is designed for an audience that includes urban and rural regeneration specialists, contractors, developers, housing departments, architects, specifiers, engineers, installers, urban designers and planners.

Steve Rotheram, metro mayor of the Liverpool City region, is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the beginning of day one, having overseen close to £1bn worth of investment in the area since being elected in 2017. Other high-profile speakers include Michael Parkinson CBE, a professor at the University of Liverpool, and Catherine Holmes, head of cities and major conurbations for Homes England. As with the previous six Regen shows, the event is free-to-attend and delegates gain access to the conference plus dozens of exhibition stands representing the sector. Click here to register.

The publishing and events business Mark Allen Group took stewardship of Regen after acquiring the show earlier this year. This opportunity has created synergies with the group’s other built environment, engineering and manufacturing events and magazines.

Marc Young, a publisher for Mark Allen Group’s business division, said: “We are delighted to be bringing Regen back to the majestic venue of St George’s Hall once again, at an exciting time for regeneration and levelling up across the country. With two days’ worth of expert talks and the latest products on show, delegates and visitors have every reason to visit St George’s Hall from 2 to 3 November.”
