Steel systems supplier to exhibit in Jan

schuecoSteel systems supplier, Schueco Jansen, is exhibiting at Architect@Work, a specialist ‘contact days’ architectural event that takes place in London at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre from 29-30 January 2014.

Visitors to the Schueco Jansen stand will see systems including the company’s Janisol Arte Renovation Window. This highly insulated window system, which won a gold medal for innovation at Batimat 2011, combines a narrow face width of just 25mm or 40mm with U-values as low as 1.6 W/m2K.

Similar in appearance to the slender ‘Bauhaus’-type glazing encountered in many older commercial and residential buildings, Janisol Arte has reportedly been approved by many local authority conservation officers as being suitable for use in listed properties.

Also on show will be a range of laser optimised structural profiles that can extend the architectural scope of Jansen’s VISS steel facade system by enabling mullions to run continuously over more than one storey.

Jansen’s extensive security offering is represented by Janisol C4, a range of fire doors and screens offering a high level of fire resistance, narrow sightlines, large glazed areas and a variety of design options. All the systems meet relevant EN standards and achieve an EI90 fire rating.
