This year has seen Lister Trade Frames of Stoke on Trent achieve 10 consecutive years as finalists in the G-Awards, with nominations in two categories of the 2014 event: Fabricator of the Year and Environmental Initiative of the Year.
,Lister’s first entered the awards back in 2005, taking the top prize of ‘Fabricator of the Year’. The following year, the company won the ‘Training and Development’ award.
,Since 2005, Lister’s has entered the G-Awards every year and been nominated as a finalist on 20 occasions. The company has won a total of eight awards, including the ‘Fabricator of the Year’ award three times and the Derrek Bonnard Award for Excellence in 2012.
,Mark Warren, Lister’s managing director, said: “You have to have a good story to tell about what you have achieved over the last 12 months, but more importantly you have to have all the facts lined up to prove what you’ve written down. So a long time before you start writing your entry, you have to have been working hard in the business to make outstanding and noteworthy improvements that will be recognised by the judges.
,“Our continued success in the G-Awards and in our business is down to the actions and hard work of the people we employ. Getting that right is our primary objective and it’s our people who have delivered such outstanding results for the company.

,The G-14 Awards will be held on 21 November at the London Hilton, Park Lane.
