Ultraframe’s ‘hup!’ shortlisted for two G23 awards

Judges of this year’s G Awards (G23) have shortlisted Ultraframe’s ‘hup!’ lightweight building system, as well as the customer support offered for it, to win this November. The Ultraframe team is up for New Product of the Year and Customer Care Initiative of the Year.

“We’re thrilled that our ‘hup!’ building system has been shortlisted for two G23 Awards,” said Alex Hewitt, Ultraframe’s marketing director. “The system really is revolutionising the way that people extend their homes and transform old conservatories. To be given a chance to highlight this at such a prestigious industry event is a great honour.”

An Ultraframe representative added: “The ‘hup!’ system uses highly energy-efficient and BBA-approved Ultrapanels in place of brick walls. These can be combined with any Ultraframe roofing system to create any shape or style of extension.

“Entirely prefabricated, with no cutting required on-site, and able to be built in any weather, ‘hup!’ features unique rapid wall and roof connections. These features combine to make ‘hup!’ 5 times faster to build than bricks and mortar, while its impeccable energy credentials mean that it offers 5 times the energy efficiency of the average UK home. The lightweight, slim nature of ‘hup!’ walls means that full builds can take place on existing conservatory bases, with a typical increase in floor space of 10 to 15% compared to a traditional build.”

Alex continued: “We are proud of the support we offer to users of the ‘hup!’ system. The package covers everything from on-site support for first builds through to nationwide training sessions. We also have an outstanding marketing support package to help ‘hup!’ users promote and sell the system.

“It is great news that ‘hup!’ has been shortlisted for both New Product of the Year and Customer Care Initiative of the Year awards, in recognition of both the product and the service package that underpins it. On behalf of Ultraframe, huge congratulations to all of the other shortlisted companies, and best of luck on what I’m sure will be a fantastic evening.”
