Leaders of the full-service agency Balls2 Marketing have made a new senior appointment, and achieved a double award win at the CIPR Midlands Pride Awards. The successes lead Balls2’s representatives to report that the business is on track to achieve its ambitious growth targets.

Balls2 Marketing was recognised in two categories of this year’s CIPR Pride Midlands awards, winning silver in the Best Construction, Property or Infrastructure Campaign category for Extrudaseal’s PremaSeal campaign. The agency was also awarded gold in the Best Event category, for Everglade Windows’ Road to 2030 Customer Conference. The CIPR Pride Award judges said: “Underpinned by detailed research and a strong commitment to raising awareness of mental health issues within the construction sector, the Road to 2030 event for Everglade Windows, organised by Balls2 Marketing, outperformed all its target objectives.”

Julie Bednall has been appointed as account director. With 18 years’ experience in marketing and communications, Julie’s career experience includes working at ITV, HomeServe and most recently for the Bristan Group.

After the agency’s senior leadership team restructure in the spring, directors Katie Bregazzi and Lauren Doyle have reportedly driven transformational change for the agency, helping to meet the business’ targets of doubling turnover and team size in three years. Leaders of the agency are now looking to further expand the team by appointing a new senior account manager. Interested applicants can send a CV to support@balls2marketing.co.uk.

Katie, operations director, said: “It’s an exciting time in our journey at Balls2 Marketing. Julie’s appointment and sector experience in the construction and home improvement industry, is integral in helping us achieve our goals.”
