Sash window experts Victorian Sliders has appointed Steve Winslet as its new group managing director, laying the foundations for future growth. Steve brings over two decades of manufacturing expertise to the award-winning firm, and a track record of driving growth and improvement at some of construction’s leading brands.

Initially, Steve will work under the guidance of company founder and CEO Scot Starkey, before gradually assuming responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business. “We’re delighted to welcome someone with Steve’s skills and experience to the Victorian Sliders team,” said Scot.

He added: “We’ve just enjoyed one of the most successful years in our history: demand for quality EcoSlide sash windows is at an all-time high – and we’ve still got big ambitions for the future. Following a £14m investment from the BGF, we’ll be striving for further growth, innovation and operational efficiencies. Steve will play a vital role in helping us achieve that.”

Steve said: “I’m delighted to be joining Victorian Sliders at such an exciting time in its history. Scot and the team have done an incredible job over the last 15 years, and created a manufacturing powerhouse with thousands of customers around the UK. Together, I’m certain we can achieve even bigger and better things in the years ahead.”
