Almost a year on from its introduction, The Veka UK Group reports that its Approved Installer Scheme has been met with ‘unprecedented success’, already welcoming around 400 businesses to date. Its parent company is said to have been inundated with positive testimonials, praising what Approved installers, fabricators and suppliers have found to be the scheme’s main benefits.

Instantly meeting with widespread interest at its 2014 FIT Show launch, the Approved Installer Scheme offers a package of support designed to promote and benefit businesses through their commitment to supplying high quality products from The Veka UK Group – the manufacturer of PVC-U window and door systems.

Stephen Wild, director at Clitheroe Plastics, commented: “Being a Veka Approved Installer is a huge bonus when it comes to lead generation. Our whole team agrees on the positive impact that personalised marketing materials, created via the online Marketing Hub have had on the business. We’re especially proud of our retail brochure and how clearly we’re presented as having the support of The Veka UK Group.

“The leads we receive from enquiries on the dedicated homeowner-facing website are indispensable. We know that customers want – and are expecting – to hear from us, so the conversion rates are fantastic. In the last two weeks alone we have received and won two jobs this way. I can’t think of any way in which the Approved Installer Scheme hasn’t benefited our business.”

Elaine Sanderson, director at Derbyshire’s Sanderson Windows, agreed: “Not only have we received lucrative sales leads from online enquiries, but the added kudos that ‘Approved’ status gives us makes customers much more open to considering the other products we offer. For example, we mentioned the new Imagine bi-folding door to various customers last week and have already put together quotes for three of them.”

Amy Grundy, national sales manager for the Approved Installer Scheme, added: “Stephen and Elaine are far from alone in their praise for the initiative. Paul Evans, MD at Ultimate Window Systems in South Wales told us about a homeowner who awarded the company a job, largely due to the assurance they felt in working with an Approved Installer.

“Similarly, Dave Crossley at Leeds Windows told us how vehicle liveries and maintenance guides from the Approved Installer Marketing Hub had helped to boost his business. He won a job for two bay windows and the customer was so impressed with the work that they added a composite door to their installation too.

“Radley – an Approved Installer based in Oxfordshire – got in touch to tell us about two leads they received via enquiries from our website, both of which they were pleased to convert! It’s all great feedback for us as it goes to show that we’ve put together a package of support that really works – no wonder we’re getting more and more companies signing up all the time!”

The Approved Scheme is open to installers of both Veka and Halo systems and is free to join. To learn more about its benefits and what it takes to join, visit www.vekauk.com/approvedinstaller
