Universal Arches has signed a deal to sponsor St Helens Rugby League Club pitch side at its stadium at Langtree Park, a venue that is just a stone’s through away from the bending specialist’s own premises.

The club, known affectionately as the ‘Saints’, moved to the new purpose built stadium at Langtree Park in February 2012, opposite Universal Arches’ 24,000ft2 facility.

With a 21-year history in the bending sector in the same premises, Universal Arches is said to have a long established reputation in the area and the opportunity to support the local rugby league team has reportedly gone down well within the workforce, which now extends to 53 members of staff.

Leon Day, managing director of Universal Arches, commented: “It’s great to be able to support the St Helens Rugby League Club pitch side, which is on full view for our workforce to see either at the ground or on the television. Our roots are set firmly in the area, as is our workforce who have helped shaped the company into the overwhelmingly strong position we have today.”
